Stephen Hawking; genius, personal hero of mine, and one of the people I have always wanted to meet, is being treated for a chest infection at Adenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. Hawking is the author of A Brief History of Time and is well known in popular culture for his guest appearances on The Simpsons, Futurama (as a member of the Vice Presidential Action Rangers) and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
